It’s been a good 12 months for cookbooks, virtually as if authors had a few years of pent-up brilliance simply ready to burst forth. (I surprise why?) In truth, 2022 was such a very good 12 months, I snuck in a mid-year roundup as an excuse to write down about extra of them. Now at 12 months’s finish, there’s a pleasing continuation of the theme of what it means to be an American, together with some eye-catching and useful design. Finally, I persuaded Celia Sack at San Francisco’s Omnivore Books to share a few of her favorites—thanks Celia! Show native booksellers some love this 12 months and purchase by Omnivore or your native store. (We’re supplied loads of hyperlinks under.) Cheers!
